How to choose the right telemedicine provider
Ask whether the platform can run a real exam, talk to your records, and survive a rural connection — not whether it has a sleek app icon.

Buying telemedicine on feature checklists is how organizations end up with a video app their clinicians abandon. The useful questions are operational.
Can a doctor perform almost all exams as if the patient were next to them? If the answer depends on a long list of unsupported devices, the product is a call tool, not a clinic.
Does it work with the EHR you already have, or does it demand a second chart? Cloud Clinic is built to customize an EHR or communicate with an existing one as a workflow, not a science project.
Is the data handled to a HIPAA standard, with encryption on video and controlled access to records? Security is not a badge; it is the condition for using the product on real patients.
Finally, who is the front door? Reception, intake, and a path for hybrid visits (facility or rider) determine whether patients actually complete care. Software that ignores that layer will look fine in a demo and stall in the field.
